Keeping Your New Year's Resolutions
Week of January 07, 2008
This year TRICARE can help with New Year's resolutions related to quitting smoking, consuming alcohol and losing weight. TRICARE's ongoing "Healthy Choices for Life" campaign is aimed at raising awareness of the problems of obesity, smoking and alcohol abuse. At the new Quit Tobacco website, users can develop a personalized plan to quit smoking and even chat with a trained cessation counselor seven days a week. "That Guy" is a DoD funded peer-to-peer campaign to increase awareness of the problems associated with alcohol consumption. For more information, visit the That Guy website.
