GEICO Military Service Award Nominations

Marine Corps nominations are being sought for the 2008 Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) Military Service Awards, which honor one active duty or selected Reserve enlisted member from each military service for outstanding contributions to the military or civilian community in the areas of drug and alcohol abuse prevention, fire safety and fire prevention, traffic safety and accident prevention. Nomination packages must be mailed in time to reach CMC by Oct.31, 2008. Full details for submitting nominations packages are available at the HQMC Safety Division website. Nomination packages should be forwarded via the chain of command to Commandant of the Marine Corps (SD), Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, 2 Navy Annex, Room 2122, Washington, D.C. 20380-1775.
