Free Tax Assistance in Europe

Tax assistance centers at U.S. Army garrisons across Europe are opening in February to offer free tax preparation and filing assistance to eligible members of the U.S. forces community. Active, reserve component and retired servicemembers, Department of Defense civilian employees and their family members can use the free tax preparation services. The tax centers are staffed by Soldiers and civilian employees certified to prepare taxes via the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
