The U.S. Naval Institute (USNI) announced a unique initiative to give free unlimited online Naval Institute membership to all active-duty and reserve servicemembers, as well as civilians with a .mil e-mail address. This offer includes online access to Proceedings and Naval History and other Institute benefits, including exclusive member discounts on more than 1,000 Naval Institute Press book titles. Members will also have access to episodes of the award winning Americans at War television series airing nationally on PBS and the chance to be a part of Get the Gouge website; a new web-based community of active-duty service members.
