Free Concert for VFW Members

The Air Force Band would like to invite members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) to a special Musical Celebration June 24, 2008 at 8 p.m. at the Strathmore in Rockville, Md. The event will be taped and aired on Veterans Day on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). VFW members who wish to attend are asked to wear their VFW hats. Along with the Air Force Band, other featured entertainers include Clint Black, Cliff Robertson and Patti LaBelle. The concert is free to VFW members. Validated parking is across the street from the Strathmore. Tickets may be obtained by e-mailing Sgt. Gil Corella at Gilbert.corella@afncr.af.mil.
