Purple Heart Anglers was founded in 2009, and since then has been taking veterans out on fishing trips. Over 1600 disabled veterans have taken part in Purple Heart Angler events, which happen throughout California from San Diego to Shasta. Veterans must be at least one percent disabled to take part.
