The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) has been notified by Gibson Overseas Inc. that the supplier inadvertently shipped coffee mugs and dessert plates that do not meet FDA guidelines for lead and cadmium leaching to PXs and BXs in Europe and the Pacific. The "Debi Hron 12 Days of Christmas" mugs and plates were sold from Sept. 30 through - Dec. 4, 2007. Military shoppers in possession of the 190 units sold (51 mugs and 69 plates in Europe, 25 mugs and 45 plates in the Pacific) should immediately stop using these products and return them to the nearest BX/PX for a full refund.
