Perhaps the most misunderstood but vitally important aspect of Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) operations involves the Military Clothing Sales (MCSS) return policy. Customers normally have the opportunity to use an item purchased at the exchange for a reasonable period of time in order to determine if it?s satisfactory or not. Items in new condition may be exchanged or returned within 90 days except for jewelery and watches, which must be returned after 30 days. Camcorders, Televisions, Digital Cameras, Furniture, Mattresses, Major Appliances and Gas Powered Equipment must also be returned within 30 days of the purchase. Computers and unopened software/peripherals, CD's, DVDs and video games have a 15 day return policy. Gift cards, pre-paid music and wireless and phone cards are non-refundable.
