The Air Force Aid Society's (AFAS) General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program provides $2,000 grants to selected dependent sons and daughters of Air Force retirees, deceased retirees, and the surviving spouses of Air Force retirees. Use of funds is limited to tuition, books, fees, or other curriculum-required materials. AFAS sections receive bulk quantities of grant applications by Nov. 1 of each year, and the application deadline is mid-March of the following year.
