DoD Welcomes Comments on ECHO

The Department of Defense (DoD) published its proposed rule in the Federal Register for implementing changes to the Extended Care Health Option (ECHO) enacted in Section 732 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 (NDAA FY09). DoD is accepting comments until Oct. 30, 2009. The proposed rule is available online. The general policy for comments and other submissions from members of the public is to make these submissions available for public viewing on the Internet at regulations.gov as they are received without change, including any personal identifiers or contact information.
