DoD SMART Scholarship

The Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program provides selected applicants full tuition, money for books, and different levels of salaries, or stipends, depending on the level of education being pursued. The program is targeted toward individuals seeking a career in science, engineering, and research and development. Upon graduation from the program, participants are required to work for one year at DoD laboratories, or other federal agencies, for each year they were enrolled in the program.
