DoD Launches Financial Education Program

The Defense Department has partnered with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Investor Education Foundation to launch the Military Financial Education Program to equip servicemembers with the tools they need to make sound financial decisions. The education program will teach basic investment necessities such as how to buy a car, saving for retirement, and the tradeoffs between risk and return on investment. The program's Website, SaveAndInvest.org, has investor information and links to the NASD Website, where further financial information can be found.
