The new "Go for Green" program is an easy-to-understand, color-coded system that shows what's good to eat and what items should be consumed less. Green items are low-calorie, low-to-no-fat items that can be eaten as often as one likes. Yellow items are a little higher in calories, have a little more fat and should be consumed occasionally. "Go for Green" posters are hung throughout Army and Air Force dining facilities worldwide here to explain to servicemembers what the new color-coded system means. For more information, read the Go for Green fact sheet, visit the Military.com website and download the Android app and the iTunes app.
