Dependent Education Assistance Update
Week of March 26, 2007
Effective December 23, 2006, eligibility for the Spouse and Dependent Education Assistance program (DEA) was been expanded to include spouses and children of servicemembers hospitalized or receiving outpatient care for a VA determined service-connected permanent and total disability may be eligible for DEA benefits.
