This year, 600 military children received a $1,500 scholarship each from the Scholarships for Military Children Program. The average GPA of the applicants was 3.8 to 3.9. It is the intent of the program that a scholarship funded through contributions be awarded annually for each commissary operated by the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) worldwide.
