CRDP CRSC Open Season
Week of January 14, 2008
Retirees that are eligible for both Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay (CRDP) and Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC), may elect to change their current payment program (federal law states that you can receive CRDP or CRSC; not both) during the 2008 CRSC/CRDP Open Season. The Open Season runs from Jan. 1 to Jan. 31, 2008. Beginning in late December, eligible retirees were mailed a CRDP/CRSC Open Season Election Form. This form includes a comparison of the CRDP and CRSC payment amounts. To learn more about the CRDP/CRSC Open season visit the Defense Finance and Accounting Service's (DFAS) website.
