Chiropractors Offering Free Services
Week of July 28, 2008
More than 70 chiropractors nationwide who are members of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) volunteered to provide free treatment for injured veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The only requirements for treatment are prior service in Iraq or Afghanistan and injuries received during a tour of service. The concept was developed by ICA's Southern Regional Director Dr. R.J. Kelly, who had initiated such a program in his own personal practice, with very positive results among veterans. A database on the International Chiropractors Association website lists all participating volunteer chiropractors by state and zip code.
