The Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance Program (FEGLI) calculator helps eligible federal employees make decisions during this open season, which runs until Sept. 30. The FEGLI calculator makes computations to calculate premiums of various combinations of FEGLI coverage, see how choosing different options can change the amount of life insurance and premiums. It also shows how life insurance carried into retirement will change over time. During this open season, employees can enroll in FEGLI or increase coverage up to the maximum offered by the program.
