More help is available for veterans who want to start a business. The new Patriot Express Loan Initiative for Veterans focuses on the military community including veterans, service-disabled, active-duty in transition, Reserve and Guard, spouses and related groups. In addition VA created the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE), which improves the business climate for veterans, to minimize access barriers and to inform the public about the benefits of working with veteran-owned small businesses. For more information, visit the Small Business Administration's Office of Veterans Business Development website.
