April is National Autism Awareness Month, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) launched a campaign to help parents recognize the early warning signs of autism and other developmental problems in children. Information about the "Learn the Signs. Act Early" Campaign is available on the CDC website. TRICARE partially covers autism services through the Extended Care Health Option (ECHO). Additionally, TRICARE covers Educational Interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorders (EIA) for qualifying children under the Enhanced Access to Autism Services Demonstration. For more information, visit the TRICARE website.
