Army's Sexual Assault Prevention Campaign
Week of September 08, 2008
The Army's new "I. A.M. Strong" campaign will empower Soldiers to "Intervene, Act, and Motivate" to prevent sexual assault. The campaign will officially be announced this week when the Secretary of the Army launches the Sexual Assault Prevention Campaign and Strategy, setting the tone for all Soldiers to help prevent this crime. The program will feature influential role models, peer-to-peer messages, and a social network for Soldiers to participate in prevention and accountability behaviors. Additionally, community workshops, projects, and awards are offered. For more information, visit the Army's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program (SAPR) website.
