The U.S. Army is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the integration of women into the regular Army. The Army's Personnel, G-1, is looking for former members of the Womens Army Corps -- which was disbanded so that females could join the Army -- who may like to share their stories and memories. For more information on women in the U.S. Army, including educational materials, visit the Women in the U.S. Army website, the Women's Army Corps webpage, the Women Veterans Historical Collection, and the book The Women's Army Corps.
