Soldiers who act before July 6 can take advantage of the new Army Enhanced Selective Reenlistment Bonus Program that pays a maximum bonus up to $33,500. The Enhanced SRB applies to: (1) Soldiers with a contractual ETS date prior to Oct. 1; (2) Soldiers with a contractual ETS date between Oct. 1 and Sept. 30, 2008, who possess a "critical skill" military occupational specialty; and (3) Soldiers assigned to a military transition team or a unit that is deploying to Afghanistan, Iraq, or Kuwait and possessing a critical skill.
