The Army launched the eCYBERMISSION Awards Program for the 2008-2009 School Year and the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) encourages students to participate in the program. The competition promotes real-life science and encourages students in grades 6-9 to identify a problem in their community and apply the scientific method to create an innovative solution. The students work in groups of three to four with an adult Team Advisor. Teams wishing to participate in the program need to register by Dec.19, 2008. For more information and to register, visit the eCybermission website or call 1-866-GO-CYBER (1-866-462-9237).
