Armed Forces Retirement Home

The Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) is a retirement community that offers residential living quarters, advanced health care, and essential social services along with a host of recreational, entertainment and creative programs. Retirees with 20 years or more of active-duty service who are at least 60 years old are eligible to become AFRH residents. Retiree's active-duty service in the military must be at least 50 percent enlisted and/or warrant officer. Prospective residents are encouraged to tour the campus in Washington, D.C.
