The Armed Forces Children's Education Fund, based in Villa Park, Calif., provides need-based scholarships to children of servicemembers who lost their lives during the Global War on Terrorism. The candidate must be a child of a U.S. military servicemember who died on or after Oct. 7, 2001 while in service to their country.
