Arizona recently joined with Helmets to Hardhats to provide construction jobs and training to National Guard, reserve and former active-duty military members. Helmets to Hardhats' role in Arizona is to provide assistance to transitioning servicemen and servicewomen by connecting them with employers who need construction workers with the skills and leadership developed in the military. Helmets to Hardhats is about more than just finding unemployed veterans a short-term job. It's about getting them started in a new career. Visit the Helmets to Hardhats website to learn more about the program and how to enroll.
For more information about transitioning, visit the Military.com Transition Center.
