Annual Influenza Immunization Program in Europe
Week of October 30, 2006
The Europe Regional Command Office of the Command Surgeon, U.S. Army, Europe has released implementing instructions for the 2006-2007 Influenza Vaccine Program. Vaccinations will proceed in the following order with Priorities A and B beginning once vaccine is received: (1) Priority A-- deployed/deploying Soldiers or civilians; (2) Priority B--medically high risk personnel, healthcare workers and contacts of medically high-risk personnel, as defined at the Website; and (3) Priority C--All other active duty, activated Reserve component, and all TRICARE beneficiaries. The goal is to complete the vaccinations by December 31, 2006.
