Students and certain other eligible persons can gain marketable skills and earn money while enjoying their summer vacations, thanks to the Air Force Summer Hire Program. The temporary jobs run from May through September. Job vacancies will be posted on the USAJobs website and may be advertised locally by a base's civilian personnel flight via bulletin boards, services squadron newsletters or base newspapers. Applicants must be able to show proof of their eligibility; either school enrollment paperwork, proof of citizenship, or other proof before being hired.
