The Air Force is working to resolve a shortage of qualified child-care providers. To combat staffing shortages, Air Force Personnel Center officials in San Antonio are working aggressively to assist bases in filling child-care positions as quickly as possible. Several expanded child-care programs available include: (1) the Air Force Extended-Duty Child Care Program; (2) Air Force Home Community Care Program; (3) Air Force Missile Care; (4) Air Force Returning Home Care Program; (5) Air Force Child Care for PCS Program; Air Force Give Parents a Break; and (6) Mission Youth Outreach.
