Agent Orange Linked to Prostate Cancer

U.S. researchers recently found that Vietnam veterans exposed to Agent Orange are more likely than others to develop prostate cancer and at a younger age. Researchers at the University of California at Davis analyzed clinical data from 17,000 Vietnam War-era veterans who received care in the Northern California VA system. Veterans exposed to Agent Orange were found to have higher grade disease, which was more likely to be present with metastases. The findings were presented at the American Urological Association's annual meeting in Orlando, Fla.
