The Air Force Survivor Assistance Program was established to coordinate all available resources to support family needs following an unexpected loss of life. The Air Force Wounded Warrior (AFW2) Program works hand-in-hand with the Air Force Survivor Assistance Program and Airman & Family Readiness Centers to ensure Airmen receive professional support and care from the point of injury to no less than five years after separation or retirement. For more information on the Air Force Survivor Assistance program, visit the program's website. For information on the Air Force Wounded Warrior program, call 800-581-9437, or send an e-mail to afwounded.warrior@randolph.af.mil.
