AF Seeks Recruiters, Instructors

Air Education and Training Command officials are seeking hundreds of members for immediate assignment as recruiters, and technical school and basic-military training instructors. The need for instructors is in response to the Air Force end-strength increase of roughly 4,000 members and the Basic Expeditionary Airman Skills Training buildup. This year, there are openings for about 500 recruiters, 205 technical school instructors, and about 200 MTIs. To volunteer for special duty assignments, members should check EQUAL Plus regularly, and apply online as directed there. Interested members may learn more about recruiting duty by reading the fact sheet here or by e-mailing the screening team at rst@rs.af.mil. More information on MTI duty is available by e-mailing the BMT recruiting team at MTIR@lackland.af.mil or calling 210-671-1018 (DSN: 473).
