The Air Force is accepting nominations for the 2009 Lance P. Sijan Air Force Leadership Award. This award recognizes the accomplishments of officers and enlisted members who demonstrate the highest quality of leadership in the performance of their duties and their personal lives. Nominees will be rated on their scope of responsibility, professional leadership, leadership image, and community involvement during July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2009. Nomination deadlines will be determined by individual major commands, field operating agencies and direct reporting units.
