On Jan. 1, the AF Portal will only be accessible by a CAC reader. This means you need a functioning CAC reader to access the Readiness Management Group Community of Practice site or any website requiring the use of the Air Force Portal. You can no longer sign into AF Portal with just your username and password. It is critical that Airman have a functioning CAC reader installed on their computer. The Air Force Portal is a key source of valuable information and resources you need to be able to access, including readiness information, useful forms and publications, and virtual MPF. If you do not have a CAC reader, contact your program manager for a free reader.
