The 2009 U.S. Air Force Marathon, at Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Ohio, may not be until Sept. 19 but the Marathon currently needs volunteers to help plan and execute the race's many aspects that begin May 1. Individuals interested in volunteering can visit the U.S. Air Force Marathon website to see jobs, schedules, dates, times, etc. All registered volunteers will receive a goody bag, embroidered patch, t-shirt and volunteer certificate.
