AF Marathon Seeks Volunteers

Because the number of runners registering for the 2008 U.S. Air Force Marathon exceeds last year's amount, more volunteers are needed to work the marathon. Volunteers perform a variety of key roles, such as serving as course marshals and expo registration workers, helping out with runners' security and hydration stations, and course set up and tear down. Anyone 18 or older can volunteer. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. For more information on servings as a marathon volunteer, visit the U.S. Air Force Marathon website or call the marathon office at (937) 257-4350.
