AF Heritage Museum Opens

The U.S. Air Force recently reopened a newly named and renovated enlisted heritage museum at Lackland Air Force Base, Tex. In addition to spending $730,000 to renovate a building that has housed the museum since 1956, the name was officially changed from the History and Traditions Museum to the USAF Airman Heritage Museum. The museum now has interactive technology, museum quality lighting, 31 exhibits and additional staff. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit the Museums.org website or telephone 210-671-3055.
