Week of November 17, 2008
With the holidays quickly approaching, many servicemembers may not have the option to visit family and friends. It's with those servicemembers in mind that the Marine Corps' Air Combat Center's Single Marine Program at Twentynine Palms, Calif., offers the Adopt-a-Marine program. The program allows local families, couples or individuals in the area to welcome a Marine or Sailor into their homes for Thanksgiving or Christmas. More information about the national Adopt-a-Marine Program is available on the RyanRust.com website or by calling the SMP at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, Calif. locallyat (area code) 830-4767.
