Salute to Veterans Airs on Memorial Day
Hosted by PBS’s Judy Woodruff, Salute to Veterans honors and pays tribute to the nation’s 3.3 million active duty service members, 22 million veterans and their families during important military/patriotic holidays and commemorations throughout the year. The inspirational and educational program offers insightful discussion, resources and solutions for the ongoing issues our military veterans face daily.
The program focuses on the lives of three veterans:
Rocky Bleier, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and four-time Super Bowl Champion who played with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is the President of RB VetCo, a Government Contracting Company and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Rocky is also currently starring in the production “The Play with Rocky Bleier.”
Chad Hennings, a U.S. Air Force Academy Football Star and three-time Super Bowl Champion with the Dallas Cowboys. Chad flew 45 Missions in Support of Operation Provide Comfort in Northern Iraq and is the President of Hennings Management as well as an author and motivational speaker.
Greg Gadson, a retired U.S. Army Colonel and the former Garrison Commander at Ft. Belvoir in Virginia. He was an honorary captain of the New York Giants with two Super Bowl rings and was a football star at West Point. Greg is the former head of the Army’s Wounded Warrior program and he was featured in the movie “Battleship.” Greg is a Managing Partner at Patriot Strategies and a motivational speaker.
