Marines Seek Input on Uniform Proposal
Stars and Stripes | November 28, 2007

The Marine Corps is asking for Marines’ input on a proposed change to the male staff noncommissioned officer evening dress uniform.

The change modifies the uniform’s dress jacket by replacing the bow tie with a standing collar, according to the survey.

The proposal, if adopted, would be phased in and is expected to increase the cost of the uniform item by $50, according to the survey.

The survey shows the current uniform and the proposed change and asks Marines to vote for or against the change.

The SNCO Evening Dress Uniform Survey is at https://www.hsisurveys.com/usmc/sncousurvey/sncousurvey.asp?P1=3t3y-104y-6gy.
