An Alabama man who had his moment of Internet fame in "The Bed Intruder Song" was arrested for marijuana possession, sheriff's deputies said.
Antoine Dodson, 24, was picked up at 2 a.m. Saturday in Huntsville, Ala., during a traffic stop that ended with charges of misdemeanor possession as well as speeding and failure to appear on previous warrants, The Huntsville Times reported.
The Madison County Sheriff's Department said Dodson was free on bond Sunday but faced a year in jail.
The Times said Dodson jumped into the YouTube spotlight with a video clip of a television news interview in which he railed about the alleged sexual assault of his sister in a Huntsville housing development. The tirade included the lines "hide your kids, hide your wife."
The clip was discovered by New York songwriters The Gregory Brothers. The brothers incorporated the interview into "The Bed Intruder Song," which has nearly 80 million YouTube views.
