Eagle Hammock RV Park

Eagle Hammock RV Park is located around a wooded 220-acre lake, Lake D, in the heart of the base, which is only six miles from the Florida and Georgia state line. Georgia exits 1, 3 and 6, off Interstate 95, all lead to the base. Kings Bay is also conveniently located near Kingsland, Woodbine and historic St. Marys, which is the gateway to Cumberland Island. Georgia's Golden Coast and popular St. Simons Island and Jeckyll Island beaches and attractions are only 40 minutes away to the north, and Jacksonville, St. Augustine and a host of beaches and attractions are an hour or less away to the south. Sixty RV sites reside inside the park. Each site has a 20' x 40' paved pad, water, sewage, satellite TV, phone lines, 30 & 50-amp electrical hook-ups, a picnic table and fire ring. Five sites are American Disability Act (ADA) compliant. A cozy community center is available on the grounds providing a meeting area, kitchen and Internet connectivity, along with an ADA bathhouse and laundry room equipped with free washers and dryers.

Recreation Area at Canyon Lake

Wonderful recreational area directly on Canyon Lake. Large selection of Cottages, Cabanas, an RV Park, Tent camping, and Picnicing - all at reasonable rates. Plenty of water sports opportunities and rental equipment. The clubhouse provides a small convenience store to purchase those forgotten items and a relaxing lounge. A covered patio is also available for small get-togethers. Other office services include internet, copies and fax.

Yellowstone Trailers

While not a military campground, it's a close second. Mountain Home AFB, ID operates these rental trailers right outside the gates of Yellowstone National Park in two locations. 10 rental trailers are available at Flagg Ranch 2 miles from the South entrance to Yellowstone NP. 5 rental trailers are available at Yellowstone Holiday RV Resort 13 miles from the West entrance to Yellowstone NP. There is NO Military Camping or RV Park.

Pililaau Army Recreation Center

Pililaau Army Recreation Center (PARC) (Formally Waianae Army Recreation Center) at Pokai Bay is one of the best beach facilities on the island. Just 35 miles from Waikiki and 18 miles from Schofield Barracks, on the beautiful Leeward Coast, the gentle waves and white sand beaches delight swimmers, snorkelers and scuba enthusiasts. PARC is comprised of 39 beachfront cabins, one distinguished visitor cabin, an equipment rental center, club facility and cove pavilion area for group outings. All cabins are air conditioned, with ceiling fans, cable TV, telephone, and full kitchens equipped with cooking utensils, tableware, dishes and linen, a private sundeck and barbecue grill. Deluxe units are carpeted and equipped with a VCR. No camping and RV Sites.
