"P.S. I Love You," Grade B-:
Hilary Swank stars in a helium-light romantic comedy about a woman whose husband (Gerard Butler) dies, but not before penning a series of notes designed to help her get on with her life.
The best scenes are those that feature Swank and Butler in flashbacks or the romantic fantasies of her imagination. This is an 180-degree change for Butler from his brutal work in "300." But he has the Irish charm to make this role work.
When director Richard LaGravenese focuses on the main story, the film is charming, but it bogs down with annoying side characters played by Lisa Kudrow and Harry Connick Jr.

"Over Her Dead Body," Grade D+:
In the biggest waste of time in the ghost-comedy genre since Bill Cosby's clunker "Ghost Dad," Eva Longoria plays Kate, a desperate spirit who gets killed on her wedding day. She's denied access to an afterlife until she takes care of unfinished business.
Let's hope nothing happens to the actress. She would have to walk the Earth until she apologizes to anyone who is unfortunate enough to see the film.

"Hiya, Kids!" Grade A:
A must-own for baby boomers who remember such children's programming as "Sky King," "Howdy Doody," "Lassie," "The Cisco Kid" and "The Rootie Kazootie Club."
The DVD set includes sample episodes from the live action series of the 1950s.
"Teeth," Grade D+:
There is no way to keep from laughing at this film. Sadly, it is supposed to be a serious horror film. The movie is so bad that it should become an instant cult favorite.
It is almost impossible to discuss this film. Let's just say anyone who gets too romantic with the female lead (Jess Weixler) is in for a painful experience.
Also new on video:
"I Really Hate My Job": Five women are stuck working in a second-rate London restaurant. Neve Campbell stars.
"The 2007 Academy Award Nominated Shorts": Included are "Le Mozart des Pickpockets" and "At Night."
"Bewitched: The Complete Sixth Season": Elizabeth Montgomery stars as the suburban witch.
"The 4400: The Fourth Season": Cable series about people who were involved in alien abductions.
"The Business of Being Born": The documentary is Ricki Lake's look at alternate birthing options.
"Delirious": A celebrity photographer (Steve Buscemi) gets closer to the story than he could have imagined.
"The Hottie and the Nottie": Paris Hilton plays a "hottie" with a heart of gold.
