Ron Paul: Watching Himself in 'Bruno' Unlikely

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, and former presidential candidate, says he doesn't plan to see the movie "Bruno" despite his cameo.
"I haven't seen it," Paul told The Hill in an article published Friday. "That (scene) doesn't exactly reflect my best moments."
Paul said he sat for an interview with Sasha Cohen's character, a gay Austrian television host, in early 2008. When a light blows, Bruno convinces Paul to wait in another room while the crew addresses the technical difficulties. In the waiting room, Bruno makes a pass at Paul, who ignores the come-on until he storms out when Bruno drops his pants.
"I don't remember getting any money for it," Paul said of his on-screen stint.
Instead of catching a movie, Paul told the Washington publication he's more likely to ride his bicycle.
"I'd rather ride a bike in the rain than exercise indoors," Paul said. "I do it more for mental relaxation than for cardiovascular."
"Bruno," which opened July 10, has taken in an estimated $39.2 million through Wednesday, BoxOfficeMojo.com reported.
