Hangover Sequel Set for Next Year

World Entertainment News Network

Actor Bradley Cooper has confirmed plans for a sequel to America's summer (09) sleeper hit movie The Hangover.

The comedy, starring Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms, has been a surprise hit and scored a second week at the top of the box office charts at the weekend, and now Cooper reveals there are plans to make a second film.

He says, "We are going to shoot it next fall... We have gotta go to space or something. Some weird thing's got to happen."

But he hopes the follow-up repeats the same hit formula as the original: "We'll probably lose (Justin Barthaa's character) Doug again. I hope we lose Doug again. That'd be fun."

The film follows a bachelor party in Las Vegas that goes awry when three friends lose the groom-to-be.
