'America at War' Comes to DVD

"20th Century: America at War," Grade A-:The one-hour documentary series that Mike Wallace hosted in the '90s has been packaged into DVD sets. This release includes 10 episodes that focus on American military actions.
The strongest episodes are the four that deal with the Vietnam War. Archival footage is mixed with expert analysis from journalists, military leaders and historians to look at Vietnam from how America got involved to the soldiers who survived the jungle hell.
Other episodes focus on the Gulf War and Korea.
The set is both a detailed history lesson and a reminder of the golden age of TV journalism when the likes of Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, Morley Safer and Wallace brought the news of the world into our homes.
Included with the set are updates on important military leaders featured in the series.
