Square Enix Announces RPG Gyromancer on Xbox and Steam

Square Enix Inc (Tokyo:9684), the publisher of Square Enix interactive entertainment products, announced on Wednesday the availability of the hybrid puzzle, RPG GYROMANCER, globally for Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and STEAM.

The puzzle has been developed by Square Enix and PopCap, and is a traditional match-3 puzzle gameplay which incorporates RPG elements.

In the game, players utilize summoned monsters to battle enemies through stunning and challenging puzzle encounters.

Prototypes of the puzzle engine were developed at PopCap, then Square

Enix took over on the bulk of development, fleshing out the RPG components, and of adding all the artwork and music.

GYROMANCER is available via Xbox LIVE Arcade and STEAM for 1200 Microsoft Points or USD14.99.
