GameStop to Host "Hands-On" Events

GameStop Corp., a video game and entertainment software retailer, announced that for the first time ever, GameStop will host "Hands-On" events for one of this year's hottest video games Activision, Inc.'s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on Wednesday, October 17, at select GameStop locations nationwide from 9 p.m. until midnight.

The events will allow customers to have an opportunity to play a sampling of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's single-player mode weeks before its national release to the public on November 6.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the new action-thriller from the team at Infinity Ward, the creators of the Call of Duty series, delivers the most intense and cinematic action experience ever. For the first time, the game play moves to the modern battlefield as players are transported to treacherous hotspots around the globe to take on a rogue enemy group threatening the world.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Xbox 360, Windows PC and PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system will begin deployment on Tuesday, November 6, and has been rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB for Intense Violence, Strong Language, Blood and Gore. The game will also be available for and Nintendo DS and has been rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB for Teen for Blood and Violence.
