While many military discounts are aimed at active-duty service members, it’s not hard to find deals that are extended to military spouses as well.

Whether you’re shopping in stores or online, military spouses can take advantage of the following discounts. Don’t forget to have your military ID handy!

Clothing and accessories

We need clothes. But putting together a wardrobe sure is expensive. Disney

Have you always wanted to take your family on vacation at Disney World but tossed the idea aside because you thought you couldn’t afford it? Through Disney’s Armed Forces Salute program, military personnel can get discounted tickets to Disney theme parks, as well as discounts off select rooms at Disney Resort hotels. Home Depot and Lowes

Owning a house is hard work. There’s always something that needs to be done, whether it’s the grass that needs mowing or pictures that need hanging or appliances that spontaneously break. Then, once you think you finally have a handle on all those home improvement projects, it’s time to PCS and start all over with a different house.

If you’re looking to upgrade your devices, Apple offers a Veterans and Military Purchase Program that includes savings on eligible products and accessories. Immediate family members who live in the same household as the service member also qualify for the discount.

National brands and chains aren’t the only businesses that offer military discounts. Local businesses also like to show their support for the military by providing discounts, especially in cities with a large military presence. Don’t know what businesses in your area offer military discounts? Your best bet is just to ask, “Do you have a military discount?” It never hurts to ask, and you might end up pleasantly surprised with a great deal.
